KID AT HEART: Kung Fu Panda

This movie was just released last year. It is a martial arts comedy film which stars well-known celebrities like Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Dustin Hoffman, Lucy Liu and many more. The story revolves around Po, a panda who works at his father's noodle house. He wanted to watch the tournament on who will become the legendary Dragon Warrior. When he was about to watch the tournament, his father asked him to bring the cart and sell noodles there. He was so desperate to watch the tournament and strapped himself in a chair of fireworks and landed inside the temple. He was then proclaimed the Dragon Warrior by Master Oogway, the wise tortoise. He went through a lot of challenges when he was training with Master Shifu but it was all worth it in the end. He was also challenged by the Furious Five but eventually helped each other in defeating Tai Lung and they became friends after. I definitely loved the movie because it was funny and the story was different! It wasn't like the typical cartoons that we watch because there is a twist to it. I watched the movie 3 times!

This is Master Shifu. I loved the part when he was training Po and fighting over a dumpling! It was so funny!

A sequel called Kung Fu Panda: The kaboom of Doom is now in pre-production and is planned for release on June 3, 2011. It will also be set in 3D with all the original cast returning. The story will feature a new villain with a mysterious power that will threathen the existence of kung fu and Po must face his past.
